Worldnet Analysts/Associates Human Resource

Our analysts and associates are an integral part of the investment acquisition and management teams and are involved in such functions as preparing industry analyses, targeting and underwriting potential investment opportunities, and financial modeling. Analysts should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience, and Associates 5+ years experience within the Investment Banking or real estate sectors and degreed with an emphasis in Finance, Real Estate, or other technical disciplines.

Senior Investment Accountant - Las Vegas, NV Human Resource

The Senior Accountant is responsible for partnerships and investments assigned. This includes the general day-to-day maintenance relating to the assigned partnerships and investments.

Responsibilities:

Fund Accounting

  • Read and understand Partnership Agreements
  • Consolidation/Elimination entries
  • Manage monthly expense accruals and payments
  • Foreign currency transactions
  • Maintain capital commitment report
  • Quarterly investor reporting
  • Annual audit

Cash Management

  • Read and understand credit facility
  • Manage line of credit borrowings and pay downs
  • Review daily cash balance report
  • Maintain interest accruals and amortization of fees related to credit facility
  • Calculate capital calls and distributions
  • Process deal fundings
  • Maintain cash projections

Investment

  • Investmentís capitalization
  • Code invoices for A/P department
  • Understand deal structure

Assistant Controller - REIT - Las Vegas, NV Human Resource

The Assistant Controller is responsible for managing, reviewing and overseeing the accounting and reporting for assigned investment partnerships. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hiring, training, assessing and developing staff
  • Managing the departmentís daily responsibilities; adhering to deadlines
  • Collaborating with Boston Accounting to ensure appropriate recognition of transactions in the general ledgers
  • Providing leadership and fostering a team environment
  • Ensuring that Boston Accounting and Operations have information and support required to streamline their operations
  • Drive, change, and move the department forward as its responsibilities increase

The Systems Manager position is hands-on and responsible for many aspects of Information Technology: application administration, systems implementation; long and short term planning and strategy; budgeting; staff supervision; and user support. The candidate should have experience in different implementations, upgrades, conversions, installations, deployments, and financial systems. Ideal candidate must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

This is a hands-on position focusing on report writing for accounting systems, financial reporting, modeling, and budgeting systems.  Ideal candidate must be willing to work extended hours and some weekends when necessary.

PC Support Specialist – Microsoft Suite – Las Vegas, NV Human Resource

The PC Support Specialist will be responsible for advising a better way of preparing documents/spreadsheets and presentations to users. This position will concentrate on Microsoft Windows platform and handle user support as well as help desk support.

Essential Function

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Expert Level)
  • Main point of contact for user support questions
  • Able to suggest a better way of working in Microsoft Office to users
  • Installation and setup of hardware, software, and printers
  • Upgrades and enhancement of software and hardware
  • Setup and maintenance of security
  • Provide coverage for other staff when necessary
  • Document operational procedures, configuration, setup of hardware and software
  • Maintain Help Desk ticketing system
  • Follow established approval procedures
